Dashboard assistant PR record

Date: 2026-09-09. Repository: activeagents/activeagent. Branch: codex/dashboard-evidence-assistantmain. Base: 1ab417d721b1d636144d0e83f38a4f0f48943dd6 (ActiveAgent 1.4.0). PR: #415 — Add dashboard evaluation assistant and reviewable agent drafts. Status: open for review; not merged. Implementation commit: 89d982f.

Repository choice

This repository owns the actionagent dashboard engine and the framework's provider/telemetry layer. The implementation belongs here. No changes are required in the hosted activeagents application or solid_agent for this first milestone.

Review scope

The PR adds an owner-scoped conversation for evaluation evidence and validated agent drafts, with provider setup, explicit processing consent, report cards, and a handoff to the existing builder. It adds a per-generation instrumentation opt-out so assistant report excerpts do not enter the framework trace store. Tests use independently written synthetic data and real provider SDKs with stubbed HTTP responses.

Native product interaction, optional WebMCP site tools, GitHub authentication, Incus/COI execution, repair workspaces and PR checks are documented future milestones. The PR does not claim those capabilities are implemented.

Validation and review

  • Engine suite and affected provider/telemetry tests: 315 tests, 1,455 assertions; no failures, errors or skips, using a fresh isolated SQLite database.
  • Nine changed/new Ruby files pass RuboCop; packaged frontend build passes.
  • Earlier synthetic browser review covered evidence links and builder handoff; live-provider answer quality has not been evaluated.
  • Independent correctness/security review found no actionable issues.
  • Public-content review found no new private material. An inherited medical scenario placeholder was replaced with an independently written catalog example. Logs, screenshots and harnesses remain in gitignored tmp/.

See RESULTS.md for limitations, ISSUES.md for the milestone backlog and PRODUCT_TOOLS.md for native interaction architecture. Publishing this branch does not provision infrastructure or merge it.
